Khine Tha
Zin Black tea (Ktz-Black tea) is the popular tea in Myanmar. Khine
Tha Zin tea trading company is able to provide the customer quality
teas based on our tea expertise, market knowledge, established
domestic and international sources of supply, and good manufacturing
practice. Ktz black tea is a completely fermented tea. The process
of the Ktz black tea manufacture are: Withering, Rolling,
Fermenting, and Drying.
According to different methods of tea
manufacture, sorted into two types: the
Orthodox and the CTC (crushed-torn-curled) type. |

Ktz-CTC black tea: CTC grades are mostly granulated in
appearance. The Ktz-Black teas are mostly manufactured by
the method of CTC type and the finished product to be a
quick brewer and yielding more cups per Kg. According to the
different granulated shapes, Ktz-CTC black teas are
classified into four types: #3 CTC black tea (with large
granulated shape), #2 CTC black tea (with middle granulated
shape),#5 CTC black tea (with small granulated shape) and
Dust CTC black tea (with powdered shape).
They are made from
leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plants, which produce better
qualities of certain classes of tea. Based on the raw
materials regions of the Camellia Sinensis, the Ktz-CTC
black teas are classifed into different grades.

Ktz-Orthodox black tea: Orthodox grades are long particle or whole leaf type.According to the different shapes, Ktz-Orthodox black teas are classified into four types: whole Leaf black tea (with short strip shape), broken leaf black tea (with small grain shape), Fannings black tea (with small slice shape), and Dust black tea (with powdered shape).
They are also made from leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plants, which produce better qualities of certain classes of tea. Based on the raw materials regions of the Camellia Sinensis, the Ktz-Orthodox black teas are classifed into different grades. |

Based on the raw materials of the Camellia Sinensis, both of the Ktz-CTC and the Ktz-Orthodox black tea are classifed
into six different types. Their grades are arranged in the order of Grade-1 to Grade-6.
